   welcome to The Shock Project!

The long awaited, cancelled, and revived, unofficial part 3 of the System Shock series.

NEWS

February 26. 2006:
Greetings from the eternal project... just kidding ;) allthough sometimes it does feel like it.
Okay, on to the news: Hojo and Wurt are out, they haven't kept in touch, and more importantly; done what they were suposed to.
So what has been done since november? Well quite alot really, not that I feel that I should tell exactly what these things are, since most are Quest related.
The reason it's all going so damn slow, is firstly: There's only the 2 of us working on the project, secondly: We have lives we need to visit once in a while. I have school + my shitty job, and Piter just got a new job, not really sure what? Telemarketing or something.
As some of you might have read on the forum: "The plot is complete" this is not exactly true... Yes the plot is complete, but not as you might have understood from the forum, integrated into the levels, some levels yes, but far from all.

Oh yeah, and sorry for not updating sooner.

November 30. 2005:
So what to tell? Well most of the levels have been linked up to one another, and you can now walk around most of the base. Fort Washington has been expanded a bit from the original JediK level, so all in all, things are going good. A few extra levels have been created, for purposes as of yet unknown, ofcourse we know what they are for, but we ain't gonna tell ;).

November 5. 2005:
Sorry for the hold up, site will be updated within the next few days. Please be patient.

July 21. 2005:
I've put my work with Avionics on hold for awhile, and begun populating Madical with critters, should be a screenshot of me being killed by the talondroid in the media section.
Vurt is working on the crussar voice, and Hojo is tsp'ing a bunch of icons and other misc signs ++.
Finally Piter is building the Cybcon and CTA areas of the base, and there's alot of progress, there are also some screenies of that in media.

The Shock Project was initiated by Lewis "PJamma God" Bannon, Roland "Crion" Mullock and Mike "JediK" Pelletier. It is a mod project for System Shock 2 that started in December 2000. It features a post-SS2 plot taking place twenty years later in a research facility owned by Tri-Optimum, located on an remote icy planet called D'Jure, and focus on recreating with the Dark Engine some aspects of the 1994 original System Shock.
The original project was cancelled in April 2004, but soon taken up by a new team and revived.
